Administration

What is protective custody?

Administration is a protective measure and is also known as protective custody. The administrator's task is to administer and manage the assets and future assets placed under guardianship. This includes salary, benefits, wages, but also items such as furniture, jewellery, real estate, securities, receivables and debts. It is also possible that the trust only covers one particular asset, for example a house.

Since 2014, being wasteful or having problematic debts has become a separate ground for receivership, known as debt receivership.

For whom.
Guardianship is for people who cannot take care of their own finances and assets independently. In addition, court-ordered guardianship can also protect you from others abusing your finances.
